    Psychology students visit Vienna

The Psychology department returned last week from a successful trip to Vienna.  The main purpose was to visit Mauthausen concentration camp and the Jewish museums, to consider the social factors involved in obedience and prejudice that can lead to atrocities like the Holocaust.  We also visited the Freud Museum to see where Freud treated his patients and Narrenturm, Europe‚Äôs first mental health hospital and now home to the Pathological-Anatomical Museum.
