At AGS, we aim to support a wide array of local and national charities through our House system.

Each House hosts a dedicated Charity Half-Term, featuring a non-uniform day alongside student-led fundraising events. In recent years, these activities have included walking 100 miles in March, taking on personal challenges for Cancer Research, Valentine’s Day rose deliveries, Easter Egg hamper raffles, and festive candy cane messages.

During the 2025/26 House year (Easter to Easter), we raised £7,875.68.

Beyond fundraising, each House undertakes an outreach activity designed to give back directly to our local community. Our students participate in a wide variety of initiatives, including local litter picks, singing in care homes, creating Christmas cards to accompany Meals on Wheels deliveries, and volunteering at the Arden Foodbank.

Over the past year, AGS has been delighted to build a close relationship with Fortitude School in Alcester. Our students have created sunflower-growing kits and painted vibrant murals for their campus, and we look forward to further nurturing this bond in the years ahead.
