Peru Expedition 2014
34 students and 4 staff spent the first three weeks of the summer on an expedition in Peru. Head of Sixth Form, Ian Young, led the group in a wide variety of activities – from high altitude trekking the Salkantay trail, exploring the jungles of the Amazon basin, undertaking a community project making irrigation channels in a remote village and a study of Inca civilisation. Everyone came back alive to tell the life-changing tale. Another expedition is planned for 2016.
